MAY 23, 2011 ----- MONADNOCK SPEEDWAY WASHED OUT AGAIN ----- The weather pattern stuck in the Northeast dampened the race program again this past Saturday at Monadnock Speedway. The management made the decision by 10am due to locally heavy downpours forecasted to come in late afternoon and early evening.
This is the second scheduled event in a row that Monadnock Speedway race venue has been cancelled and the management along with the competitors and race fans hope this stubborn weather pattern disappears.
Monadnock Speedway will host their next event on Saturday, May 28th featuring the Sportsman Modifieds, Super Late Models, Super Stocks, Mini Stocks, Young Guns, Lightning Stocks (4-cylinder Enduros) and Thunder Stocks (Full Size Enduros). In additional to the race program, four time motocross champion Louise Forsley, will thrill the fans with a variety of daredevil motorcycle stunts. The event will start at 6pm.
The speedway has also announced the Victor Johnson Memorial originally scheduled for May 14 has been rescheduled to June 18th.
