JULY 25, 2011 ----- 'The Magic Mile' Speed Report; Edmonton ----- The IZOD IndyCar Series took on the 2.256-mile, 13-turn course of Edmonton, Alberta this weekend and it was a Penske Racing who led the way with a one-two finish.
*Will Power, driver of the No. 12 Verizon Dallara/Honda for Team Penske, captured his fourth win of the 2011 season yesterday at the Edmonton Indy.
*Power edged teammate Helio Castroneves driver of the No. 3 Penske Truck Rental car for the win at the City Centre Airport street circuit.
*With the win, Power closed to within 38 points of leader Dario Franchitti in the IZOD IndyCar Series championship standings.
*The top-10 finishers: Will Power, Helio Castroneves, Dario Franchitti, Tony Kanaan, Justin Wilson, Sebastien Bourdais, Ryan Hunter-Reay, Mike Conway, Danica Patrick and Ryan Biscoe.
*The top-10 in the IZOD IndyCar Series points championship: Dario Franchitti, Will Power, Scott Dixon, Tony Kanaan, Oriol Servia, Ryan Briscoe, Marco Andretti, Graham Rahal, Helio Castroneves and J.R. Hildebrand.
*The IZOD IndyCar Series season continues on Sunday, Aug. 7 at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course. Coverage begins at 2 p.m. (ET) on VERSUS.
