AUGUST 8, 2011 ----- "The Magic Mile" Speed Report: Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course and Pocono Raceway ----- The IZOD IndyCar Series visited the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course Sunday and it was Scott Dixon who held off 2010 champion Dario Franchitti to capture the checkered flag.
* Dixon, driver of the No. 9 Target Chip Ganassi car passed Dario Franchitti on lap 61 to win the Honda Indy 200.
* This was Dixon's third win at Mid-Ohio.
* The win brought Dixon just 31 points from teammate Will Power in the IZOD IndyCar points battle.
* The top-10 finishers: Scott Dixon, Dario Franchitti, Ryan Hunter-Reay, Takuma Sato, Tony Kanaan, Alex Tagliani, Marco Andretti, Oriol Servia, Sebastien Bourdais and Vitor Meira.
* The top-10 in points: Dario Franchitti, Will Power, Scott Dixon, Tony Kanaan, Oriol Servia, Marco Andretti, Ryan Briscoe, Graham Rahal, Helio Castroneves and JR Hildebrand.
* The IZOD IndyCar Series will race to New Hampshire Motor Speedway next Sunday at speeds of up to 200 mph during the MoveThatBlock.com INDY 225. Brad Keselowski, driver of the No. 2 Miller Lite Dodge overcame a broken ankle to capture his second win of the season at Pocono Raceway Sunday.
* Keselowski, who was injured during a test session on Wednesday, took the lead with 21 laps to go in today's Good Sam RV 500 at Pocono Raceway.
* This was Keselowski's third NASCAR Sprint Cup Series victory in 74 starts.
* Pit strategy was a huge factor in Keselowski's win. The No. 2 crew decided to stay out on the track on old tires under a caution during Sunday's rain-delayed event.
* Keselowski is now a top-contender for the Wild Card spot in the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup.
* The top-10 finishers: Brad Keselowski, Kyle Busch, Kurt Busch, Jimmie Johnson, Ryan Newman, Jeff Gordon, Carl Edwards, Greg Biffle, Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Paul Menard.
